CHICAGO — A shooting in North Lawndale left Isaiah Hurley, 22, dead on Sunday, officials said.
About 2:10 a.m., officers in the 1500 block of South Christiana Avenue saw a man get shot in his chest and people run away, police said. Officers chased the people who ran from the shooting. Two people were questioned and released, police said.
The man was Hurley, of the 1300 block of South Lawndale Avenue, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. Hurley was pronounced dead at 2:25 a.m., and an autopsy showed he died of multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
