CHICAGO — Two 16-year-old boys were wounded in a Back of the Yards shooting early Friday, according to police.

The teens were in the 1800 block of West 54th Street at about 11:24 a.m. Friday when a beige or green car drove up and someone inside began shooting, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago Police spokesman.

One of the boys was shot in his hand and one was shot in his knee, Sweeney said. Both were taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, police said.
