WICKER PARK — Though store B vintage has long been known for assembling creative window displays, the Halloween season combined with the upcoming presidential election has served as especially inspiring fodder.

Christen Cook, a clerk at store B Vintage, 1472 N. Milwaukee Ave., said the loosely titled "Donald and Hillary bashing each other" window, complete with look-alike piñatas, was completed earlier in the week and has drawn a lot of attention since.

"Everyone is stopping and taking photo and selfies. I have not heard one thing bad or good. No one has actually come into the store to talk about it," Cook said.

The idea for the window came from store B owner David Ginople and was executed with the help of Michael Belluomini and Cook, who assisted with wardrobe.

After Belluomini and Ginople bought Trump and Clinton piñatas in Little Village, Cook dressed a mannequin wearing a Clinton mask in a red 70s double knit pantsuit, a jumbo strand of pearls and a patriotic red, white and blue scarf.

The Clinton mannequin is also holding a broom, which could technically be used to whack the Trump piñata, hanging just above her head with small hands making an "OK" sign.

On the left side of the window, a mannequin in a Trump mask wears a pinstripe suit with a red 70s knit tie emblazoned with elephants.

Above Trump, a Hillary piñata swings, ready for a hit from Trump's walking stick.

Ginople and Belluomini were at an antique show and unable to be reached for comment, however, Our Urban Times, which was first to report the festive display, asked its creator to weigh in on what it means.

"Neither candidate is perfect but, damn it, get out and vote anyway!" Ginople told Our Urban Times.

Halloween is Oct. 31. The election to determine who will be the next U.S. president is Nov. 8.
