Uptown Shooting Wounds Man, 24, Police Say

UPTOWN — A 24-year-old man was shot in Uptown Saturday night.

Around 8:53 p.m., the man was shot twice in his leg in the 1100 block of West Wilson Avenue, police said.

The man was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition, police said.

He was among 17 people citywide wounded in shootings from Saturday to Sunday morning. One person was also fatally shot.
