CHICAGO — A 29-year-old man was shot in West Englewood Friday morning, according to police.

At 11:15 a.m., the man was getting out of a car in the 6500 block of South Laflin Street when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Kevin Quaid, a Chicago Police spokesman.

He was struck in his right foot and managed to get himself to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, Quaid said.

No arrests have been made.

The shooting victims is a documented gang member, according to police.
