WRIGLEY FIELD — The first two games of the National League Championship Series will start at 7 p.m. Central Time at Wrigley Field, Major League Baseball announced Wednesday.

Both night games Saturday and Sunday will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1, with Game 1 also playing on Fox.

Times have yet to be announced for the three following games, which the Cubs will play away from Chicago Tuesday through Thursday before returning to Wrigley for Games 6 and 7 Oct. 22 and 23, if necessary.

After an historic, come-from-behind win Tuesday to clinch their National League Division Series, the Cubs celebrated through the night and arrived in Wrigleyville at dawn to a throng of ecstatic fans.

The Cubs scored four runs in the 9th inning to beat the San Francisco Giants 6-5, taking the best-of-5 series 3 games to 1. After partying on the field and dumping champagne and beer on each in the locker room, the players headed back to Wrigley Field. Some got on the jet still soaked with booze.

Tuesday's shocking win gave the Cubs a brief break while two teams vye for the lower-seed in the NLCS. Had the Giants prevailed — as they were widely expected up into the ninth inning — a fifth game would have wrapped up the Cubs-Giants series at Wrigley Field on Thursday.

Crowds at Wrigleville bars during the two away games this week were well-behaved and small, particularly after Monday's five-hour slog that ended at 1:45 a.m. in the Cubs' only defeat of the postseason so far.

After Tuesday's clinch, dozens of fans raced to the Wrigley Field marquee for an impromptu celebration, waving W flags and cheering for the Cubbies.

While mounted police units were not present at the end of the game, Chicago police had little trouble maintaining order, with police encircling the revelers with their bicycles while others lined Clark Street sidewalks to block fans from traffic.

The Cubs will face either the Washington Nationals or the Los Angeles Dodgers in the seven-game NLCS. The Nationals-Dodgers series is tied 2-2, with the fate-deciding Game 5 set for Thursday night.

The winner of the NLCS will face either the Toronto Blue Jays or the Cleveland Indians in the World Series. The American League Championship Series begins Friday in Cleveland.
