LINCOLN SQUARE — Taco In A Bag's owners have eaten an entire goat in a bid to break the Cubs long-standing playoff curse, so these guys were never going to offer up a standard prix fixe menu for Lincoln Square's upcoming Restaurant Week.

"We thought, 'Why don't we make something so ridiculous no one will take us up on it?'" said Tim Brown, co-owner of Taco In A Bag, 4603 N. Lincoln Ave.

The deal they came up with is a $400 three-course dinner for two: wagyu beef walking tacos infused with black truffle, Maine lobster ragout and a dessert taco with edible gold foil and edible gold flakes.

"We know how to do it," Brown emphasized, should someone actually fork over the cash for the meal.

"Pat [Bertoletti] is a classically trained chef," Brown said of his co-owner. "He can apply anything to a taco in a bag."

Any takers will also get the entire restaurant to themselves, a private waiter and whatever entertainment Brown cooks up for the evening.

"I'm going to make it the strangest two hours of their lives," he said. "I know a guy who juggles chainsaws."

Reservations are required 48 hours in advance by calling 773-250-2437 or through the restaurant's website.

"I'm secretly hoping someone takes us up on it," Brown said. "I'm going to go all out."

Taco In A Bag is one of nearly two dozen restaurants taking part in the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce's inaugural Restaurant Week, Sunday until Oct. 21.

Other highlights include:

• Isla Pilipina's $12 street food sampler (balut, kwek kwek, okoy and fish balls), 2501 W. Lawrence Ave.

• Dollar oysters all week at Mash Craft Kitchen, 4535 N. Lincoln Ave.

• Buy one maki, get one free at Miku Sushi, 4514 N. Lincoln Ave.

The complete list of participants and their offerings is available online.
