CHICAGO — Shootings on the city's South and West sides left a woman dead and seven other people wounded between Monday morning and Tuesday morning, police said.

Adrianna Mayes, 21, died and another man was wounded after being caught in the crossfire of a shooting in Roseland early Monday afternoon.

• Most recently, at 3:55 a.m. Tuesday morning, officers found a man lying in the 7700 block of South Exchange Avenue in South Shore with two gunshot wounds, police said.

The man was brought to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition with wounds in his lower back and lower right side, police said.

Police said the man is a documented gang member and did not cooperate with authorities.

• At 10:40 p.m. Monday, two teenagers were standing in the 4200 block of South Sacramento Avenue in Brighton Park when someone shot at them from a passing black SUV, police said.

One man, 18, was taken to St. Anthony Hospital after being shot in his leg, police said. The other teen, 17, was taken Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound in his side.

Police could not provide either teen's condition but said both were "stable."

• Around 8 p.m., two men were shot in the 1800 block of South Kildare Avenue in North Lawndale, according to Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

One man, 22, was shot in his abdomen, Pacheco said. The other man, 21, was shot in his left arm.

The men brought themselves to Mount Sinai Hospital, where they were both considered "stable," Pacheco said.

Police could not immediately provide any other information on the shooting.

• At 6:11 p.m., a man was shot in his foot in Humboldt Park.
