CHICAGO — Shootings have left two people dead and seven wounded since Thursday, police said.

• At 2:38 p.m. Thursday, a 28-year-old man was shot to death in Englewood.

• At noon, a man was killed while he was in a car on the Eisenhower Expy. near Central Avenue.

In non-fatal shootings:

• Most recently, at 12:18 a.m. Friday, a 23-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 5400 block of West West End Avenue when a man shot at him.

The victim was hit in his right hand. He took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 11:19 p.m. Thursday, an 18-year-old woman was shot in Hermosa, police said. The woman was walking with a man in the 3000 block of North Kostner Avenue when someone in a white sedan fired shots.

The woman was hit in her left forearm and was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 9:20 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Roseland, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 10100 block of South Calumet Avenue when two men walked up to him and fired shots.

The man was hit in the right side of his abdomen and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

• At 9:05 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in Grand Crossing, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The teen was walking in an alley in the 7800 block of South Maryland Avenue when he felt pain in his buttocks and wrist.

The teen was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

He was uncooperative, police said.

• At 8:20 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Austin, Amezaga said. The man was in the 200 block of South Lotus Avenue when he was shot in his leg, buttocks and arm.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

• At 6:36 p.m., two men were shot in Garfield Park.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
