CHICAGO — A shooting in Morgan Park left a 22-year-old man wounded on Friday night, police said.

At 9:30 p.m., the man was standing with a group of people in the 11500 block of South Church Street when someone in a passing car fired shots at them, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was hit in his face and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. His condition was not available, but he was listed as "stable," Estrada said.
