By Kelly Bauer | September 24, 2016 9:31am

CHICAGO — A shooting in Fuller Park left Jeremiah Curtis, 25, dead and another man critically wounded on Friday afternoon, police said.

At 1:45 p.m., the men were standing outside in the 4200 block of South Princeton Avenue when a car drove past and someone inside opened fire on them, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

Curtis was hit in his abdomen and buttocks. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Estrada said. Curtis, of the 8800 block of South Houston Avenue, was pronounced dead at 3:13 p.m., according to Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records.

The other man, 39, was shot in his face and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, Estrada said.

The men were documented gang members, police said, and the shooting might be gang-related.

No one was in custody.
