Burglar Kicking In Dunning Homes' Front Doors, Police Say

DUNNING — Four homes have been burglarized in Dunning during the day by someone who kicked down or pried open front doors or windows, police warned Thursday.

The burglar took jewelry, cash and copper pipes, police said.

Police said the burglaries took place:

• At 3:30 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 3400 block of north Naragansett Avenue

• Between 7:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. Sept. 7 in the 3400 block of north Natoma Avenue

• Between 9 a.m. Sept. 13 and 9:30 a.m. Saturday in the 7000 block of west Irving Park Road

• Between 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 3900 block of north Nora Avenue.

Police warned Sept. 14 about a spate of garage burglaries.

Anyone with information about the crimes is asked to call detectives at 312-747-8263.
