LOGAN SQUARE — Up to 26 food trucks are expected at a two-day food and music party in mid October in Logan Square.

The inaugural Logan Square Food Truck Social will include a live music lineup programmed by Empty Bottle Presents Oct. 15 and 16 along Humboldt Boulevard between Armitage and Bloomingdale.

The event is being presented by the A.V. Club and will run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day.

Revolution Brewing will be supplying the beer.

The first Logan Square Food Truck Social will also include chef demonstrations and tastings throughout each day.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit Yates Elementary School, La Casa Norte, Northwest Food Partners Network and the Illinois Food Truck Owners Association.

There is a $5 suggested donation for the event.

None of the trucks or live acts have been announced yet.

The group behind the event hosted a Pilsen Food Truck Social in June and has a West Town Food Truck Social planned for Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
