LINCOLN PARK — A man who robbed someone at North Avenue beach Monday evening ran across Lake Shore Drive to escape, got hit by a car and kept going, police said.
Around 5:55 p.m. Monday, a man robbed someone at North Avenue beach in the 1600 block of North Lake Shore Drive, police said.
To escape, the man ran across Lake Shore Drive, where he was hit by a car. That car then hit another car, police said.
When authorities arrived on the scene, the robber had already ran off, police said.
There were no reported injuries, and no drivers were ticketed, police said.
