CHICAGO — One man has been killed and nine people wounded in shootings, including a police-involved shooting, since Friday.

• About 11:30 p.m., a man was shot dead in Humboldt Park, police said. Police said the man might have been killed in a shooting that was witnessed by officers. Officers who saw the shooting shot and wounded another man.

In non-fatal shootings:

• Most recently, at 1:12 a.m. Saturday, a 19-year-old man was shot in Belmont Cragin, police said. The man was leaving a party and was standing on a corner in the 2200 block of North LaPorte Avenue when a black sedan drove up, a man got out of the car, shouted gang slogans and fired shots at the victim.

The victim, who was not affiliated with a gang, was hit in his left arm and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 11:55 p.m. Friday, a 30-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was sitting in a car in the 5900 block of West North Avenue when a man outside the car took out a gun and shot the victim.

The victim was hit in his left arm, police said. He took himself to West Suburban Hospital, where he was in good condition.

• Also at 11:55 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Little Village.

• At 10:45 p.m., two men were shot in Irving Park, police said. One of the men was hit in his head.

• At 10 p.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The man was in a gangway in the 1100 block of South Troy Street when a man with a gun said he was robbing the victim and then shot him.

The victim was hit in his chest and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

• At 4:45 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Roseland, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The man was a passenger in a car driving in the 10200 block of South Michigan Avenue when a gray SUV pulled alongside them and someone inside fired shots.

The driver of the man's car reversed in an attempt to escape, but it drove through a fence and hit a building, Lemmon said.

The man was shot in his right ear and was in good condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Lemmon said.

No other injuries were reported.

• At 4:05 p.m., a 33-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, Lemmon said. The man was walking in the 700 block of North Springfield Avenue when a black SUV pulled alongside and someone inside fired shots at the man.

The man was hit in his abdomen and right leg, Lemmon said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

The man was a documented gang member, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings unless otherwise noted.
