CHICAGO — Musician Chance the Rapper found a new way to help his fans: Cut out some of the ticket scalpers.

The rapper said in a tweet that he "took back" nearly 2,000 tickets to his Magnificent Coloring Day festival from scalpers. Tickets to the festival, which will feature muscians John Legend and Alicia Keys among others, went on sale July 29 and sold out just days later.

The tickets that Chance "reclaimed" were on sale starting at 1 p.m. Saturday at U.S. Cellular Field at Gate 5, according to a tweet. They were selling for $45-$75, well below what scalpers were seeking.

The show is Sept. 24 at U.S. Cellular Field (it's not Guaranteed Rate Field quite yet).
