LINCOLN SQUARE — Say so long to summer at one final Thursday night concert in Lincoln Square.

Enjoy the "soulful pop" of Rachel B as she closes out the weekly series, 6:30-9 p.m., Giddings Plaza, 4731 N. Lincoln Ave.

The concert is free and, as always, there will be food and beverages (adult and otherwise) available for purchase.

It's also last call for the "Shop Small Thursday" promotion. Anyone who's spent $300 or more at neighborhood businesses on Thursdays, from June through tonight, is eligible for a $50 gift card from the Lincoln Square Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce.

Purchases must be split among at least three local businesses within the boundaries of Foster, Montrose, Ashland and the Chicago River. Submit receipts to the chamber at 2611 W. Lawrence Ave., or email photocopies to info@lincolnsquare.org.

Though the concert series has come to an end, the Lincoln Square Thursday night farmers market continues through Oct. 27.

After taking a break on Sept. 8 for the annual German-American Fest, the market returns Sept. 15 with new hours, 4-7 p.m., Lincoln and Leland avenues.
