CHICAGO — A shooting in West Ridge left a 32-year-old woman wounded on Friday night, police said.
At 10 p.m., the woman was sitting in a car in the 6200 block of North Ridge Avenue when a man in the backseat was playing with a gun and fired a shot, police said.
The woman was hit in her lower back and was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said.
No one was in custody.
