GRAND BOULEVARD — Ald. Sophia King (4th) is continuing the tradition of the 4th Ward Health and Housing Fair of her predecessors on Saturday.

The free 4th Ward Health and Housing Fair will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Dyett High School, 555 E. 51st St.

As under former aldermen Will Burns and Toni Preckwinkle, the annual fair provides a chance for people to renew their license or ID, get back to school physicals for kids and get blood pressure, vision and dental checks.

Free backpacks with school supplies and free haircuts will also be available for kids.

There will also be free seminars for first-time homeowners and landlord and tenants rights.

The event is free and open to the public.

For more information, call the 4th Ward office at 773-536-8103.
