CHICAGO — There's nothing sweeter than adopting a furry friend — especially if you find one at a candy store.
Dylan's Candy Bar will host a dog adoption event with PAWS Chicago, an animal shelter that works to save dogs and cats in Chicago. Attendees will be able to get a free scoop of Dylan's ice cream while trying to find a dog or puppy to bring home, and 10 percent of all candy sales will go to PAWS during the event.
The event is noon-4 p.m. Sept. 18 at Dylan's Candy Bar, 445 N. Michigan Ave.
