ALBANY PARK — Albany Park is one of the city's most diverse neighborhoods, and its festivals reflect the community's multitude of cultures.

Instead of the same tribute and cover bands found at numerous street fests across Chicago, World Fest's music lineup lives up to its name.

Check out the acts set to perform Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday

• 12:30 p.m. — Tsukasa Taiko (Asian drummers)

• 2 p.m. — Black Bear Combo (Balkan brass ensemble)

• 4 p.m. — Andreas Kapsalis (Greek guitarist)

• 6 p.m. — Ecos Del Pacifico Afrocolombia (Colombian global dance)

• 8 p.m. — Occidental Brothers Dance Band Int'l (African international dance band)

Sunday

• 2 p.m. — Royale Polynesian Revue (Polynesian dance)

• 4 p.m. — Lamajamal (Middle East/Balkan party music)

• 6 p.m. — Ode (rhythmic Gypsy rock)

• 8 p.m. — Carpacho y Su Super Combo (salsa, cumbia and merengue)

Food, drinks, arts and crafts vendors, and carnival rides round out the fest, which takes place on Kimball Avenue between Lawrence and Leland.

Hours are noon-10 p.m. Saturday and noon-9 p.m. Sunday. Admission is a suggested $5 donation, $10 for families.
