LINCOLN PARK — Police will be on the lookout for drunken drivers on the North Side this weekend.

Officers will conduct the DUI strike force patrol from 7 p.m. Friday to 3 a.m. Saturday, according to a Chicago police alert.

Police will saturate the Town Hall District to find drivers who are drunk, speeding or not wearing their seat belts.

The district covers parts of Lakeview, Uptown, Lincoln Park, Lincoln Square and North Center.

During a similar effort in the Ogden District earlier this month, three people were arrested for drunken driving, five cars were towed and a total of 96 tickets were issued.
