HYDE PARK — Indie City Writers are asking Hyde Parkers to help write the neighborhood’s longest poem on Thursday.

The writers collaborative will be at the Hyde Park Farmers Market from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday at 5300 S. Harper Court trying to fill a 98-foot length of paper with a single poem.

Organizer Kirsten Jensen said the group wants Hyde Parkers to come and help add lines to the poem.

The Indie City Writers will also be selling books by its authors and recruiting new members who want to take advantage of the group’s workshops, critiques and author events.
