Armour School Offers Free Before- And After-School Care For Students

BRIDGEPORT — Philip D. Armour School will begin offering free before- and after-school care for its students on Sept. 12.

Before school care begins at 7 a.m. and after school care runs until 5 p.m. every day school is in session. The care program will run Monday through Friday until the last week of June.

Teachers and paraprofessionals will be available to help students with reading, math and homework. The programs are available to all students registered in grades 1-8 at no cost, but space is limited.

The programs include Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin translators.

Parents must register their children before Sept. 6. For more information, call the school at 773-535-4530.
