The man is a documented gang member, police said.

• At 11 p.m., a 14-year-boy and 18-year-old man were shot in Riverdale, police said. The men were standing on the sidewalk in the 300 block of East 131st Place when two men walked up to them and fired shots.

The 18-year-old man is a documented gang member, police said.

• At 7:45 p.m., a 26-year-old man was shot in Chicago Lawn, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman. The man was standing outside in the 6900 block of South Maplewood Avenue when a car drove up and someone inside fired shots.

• At 6:20 p.m., two men were shot in Austin, Estrada said. The men were standing on the sidewalk in the 700 block of North Lorel Avenue when they heard shots and felt pain.

The man said he was drinking with friends in a park in the 2400 block of East 97th Street when he heard "numerous" gunshots and felt pain but didn't realize he'd been hit because he was drunk.

The man's back and arm were grazed by bullets. He went to Trinity on Thursday and was expected to be treated and released, Estrada said.

The man is a documented gang member, police said, and the shooting might be gang-related.
