ROGERS PARK — A 25-year-old man was shot to death inside a business in Rogers Park Tuesday night, police said.

At 8:30 p.m., the man was in the building in the 7300 block of North Rogers Avenue when two men walked in through the front door and one of them shot him in his head, according to Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was taken to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition, Zala said. He was later pronounced dead.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Cortez Tate, of the 7600 block of North Sheridan Road.

No one is in custody, Zala said.
