LAKEVIEW — Gillian Jacobs will host a Q&A session Tuesday night following the screening of her new movie, "Don't Think Twice," in Lakeview.

Jacobs, known for her roles on "Community" and Netflix's "Love," will visit the Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Ave. The theater announced her appearance Tuesday morning.

Tickets to the movie and Q&A are $11 and can be purchased online.

Jacobs co-stars with Keegan-Michael Key in "Don't Think Twice." The 92-minute film focuses on a New York improv troupe comprised of members each yearning for their big break.

When Jack, played by Key, gets a chance to audition for "Weekend Live," his relationship with Samantha (Jacobs) and other members of the troupe come into question.

Jacobs isn't the first to visit the Music Box Theatre on behalf of "Don't Think Twice." On Saturday, producer Ira Glass also hosted a Q&A.

Jacobs got her break in the NBC series "Community" as Britta Perry, a type-A activist all too eager to test out her therapy skills on the community college study group.

After "Community" moved to Yahoo, Jacob flexed her acting muscles on "Girls," playing the acerbic and pretentious Mimi-Rose Howard. Most recently, Jacobs starred in the Netflix series "Love" as one half of a dysfunctional yet charming couple.

"Don't Think Twice" with Jacobs's Q&A begins at 7:30 p.m.
