NORTH CENTER — Damen Avenue is set for full resurfacing starting Tuesday between Addison Street and Irving Park Road.
Expect parking restrictions throughout the project, with work expected to last through October.
In his weekly newsletter, Ald. Ameya Pawar (47th) encouraged residents who live in the area to park in their garages "to maximize the number of spots available on the street" during construction.
In addition to laying down new asphalt, crews will remove and replace the curb and gutter and will add ADA sidewalk improvements.
