OLD TOWN — A fire broke out in Old Town Saturday evening, hitting two homes and two garages.

The blaze started in a garage in the 1700 block of North Cleveland Avenue around 9:25 p.m., according to Jeff Lyle, a Chicago Fire Department spokesman.

It spread to two homes and another garage in the 1700 block of North Mohawk Street, Lyle said. Firefighters put it out by 10 p.m.

No residents were injured, but a firefighter was treated for non-life threatening injuries, he said.

Lyle said it's unclear if anyone was displaced. He could not immediately say what caused the fire.
