CHICAGO — This weekend's weather will be everything you could want and more: sunny, breezy and not too hot.

While the week has been hot and humid, things start to cool down after Thursday night: The city will see a high of 92 degrees during the day, but that will fall to 74 at night and rain will hit about 2 a.m, said AccuWeather meteorologist Paul Walker.

It could keep raining during Friday morning, but it should clear up by lunch time, Walker said. It will get as warm as 84 degrees.

"Nice, to sum it up in one word," Walker said of the weekend.

The rest of the weekend will be even cooler: Saturday and Sunday will each hit a high temperature of 81 degrees, Walker said. That's a bit cooler than usual for this time of year as we're typically hitting 83 degrees, Walker said.

There will also be a light wind and sunshine — perhaps a little more on Saturday than Sunday, Walker said.

"They both look gorgeous," Walker said.
