CHICAGO — A pair of men have been robbing people riding the CTA, police said.
During the robberies, which have taken place on the train and at stations, the men use a gun, according to a Chicago Police community alert. They've also pepper-sprayed one victim.
After the robberies, the men get off at the next stop or have jumped a turnstile and run off, police said.
The robberies occurred:
• 4 a.m. June 25 in the 400 block of West 69th Street
• 5 p.m. July 24 in the 1000 block of West Fullerton Parkway
• 2:30 p.m. July 25 in the 3400 block of West Lawrence Avenue
One of the men is black, 30 years old and is 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10 tall and weighs 140 to 160 pounds, police said. The man has worn glasses, a Cleveland Cavaliers hat, yellow and maroon shirt and pants and red gym shoes.
The other man is black, 40 years old and is 5-foot-9 to 6-foot and weighs 170 to 200 pounds, police said. He has short black hair and has worn a black polo shirt, black pants and black shoes.
