IRVING PARK — It's been Italian ice kind of weather, which has Irving Park residents dying to know "When is Miko's going to open?"
August. Hopefully, "pending licensing," according to owner Zach Roombos.
"We get calls literally every day," Roombos told DNAinfo via email.
Announced at the beginning of 2016, the Irving Park Miko's, 4125 N. Kimball Ave., will be the third for the ice maker, joining locations in Logan Square and Bucktown.
Timeout Chicago recently picked Miko's as one of the top Italian ice joints in Chicago, calling resistance "futile" and "swooning" over flavors like black raspberry and watermelon.
