BRIDGEPORT — Calling all punks: Punk Rock Karaoke is coming to the neighborhood tonight.

The Orphanage Community Center, 643 W. 31st St., will host "Karaoke Against Fascism" from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. Organized by Punk Rock Karaoke Chicago, the shindig will raise money to pay for the medical bills of seven protesters stabbed by neo-Nazis at a white supremacist rally in Sacramento last month.

"A lot of us can’t be out in the streets, physically combating people who espouse racist terror against black and brown people but what everyone can do is show up, give money and sing for these nine young people’s medical legal bills,” said Danielle Villarreal, Punk Rock Karaoke organizer.

The karaoke songbook includes classics from Againsts Me!, Bikini Kill, Black Flag, The Clash, The Dead Kennedys, The Descendents, Fugazi, Jawbreaker, Minor Threat, The Misfits, Rancid, Sleater-Kinney, The Smiths, Stiff Little Fingers, X-Ray Spex and more.

Food and drinks will be available with donation.

If you can't show up and sing, donate to the cause here.
