LINCOLN PARK — La Colombe is opening in the heart of Lincoln Park, a spokeswoman confirmed Friday.
The Lincoln Park location, 858 W. Armitage Ave., will be the fourth in Chicago for the Philadelphia-based artisan coffee roaster, and the brand's 19th cafe nationwide.
La Colombe has locations in Wicker Park, Andersonville and the West Loop, and runs a roasting facility in Logan Square.
While the spokeswoman couldn't provide an exact opening date, she said a "coming soon" sign should appear in the window any day now.
Prior to La Colombe, the space on Armitage was home to a UPS store.
In early July, La Colombe received a permit for $53,000 in interior renovations. No work will be done to the existing facade, according to city records.
