MORGAN PARK — Univision Chicago named Manzo's Burger in Morgan Park the "Best Burgers in Chicago," according to a post on the restaurant's Facebook page.
The post dated Wednesday also thanks Aureliano Salgado, who hosted the segment that highlights the various exotic burgers from the restaurant at 2353 W. 111th St.
The burgers that took the spotlight in the June 8 segment included Manzo's Jalapeno Burger, topped with jalapeno peppers, traditional Mexican Chihuahua cheese, carnitas (fried pork) and homemade guacamole.
Univision also showcased the Hangover Burger, which uses grilled ham and cheese sandwiches for the top and bottom bun. This massive burger includes two natural beef patties topped with caramelized onions, applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, a fried egg, ketchup and mustard.
