CHICAGO — Two people were shot and wounded on the inbound Dan Ryan Expy. late Monday night, police said.

A few minutes before midnight, five people were driving in a stolen car near the 59th Street exit when someone in a black car pulled alongside them and shot into their car, according to Trooper Woodrow Montgomery, an Illinois State Police spokesman.

The driver, a "juvenile," was shot in his hip and the other was shot in his left leg, State Police said. A man in the back seat of the car was shot in his left hip.

The victims were taken to Stroger Hospital, where they were treated for "non life-threatening wounds," police said.
