RAVENSWOOD — Going green and staying in the black don't have to be incompatible business goals.

That's just one of the topics that will be on the table during the Greater Ravenswood Chamber of Commerce's annual Sustainable Speaker Series program, set for 6-9 p.m. July 28 at Artifact Events, 4325 N. Ravenswood Ave.

The scheduled presenters include Tim Frick, CEO of the web design and consulting firm MightyBytes, who will talk about ways to create a cleaner and greener internet without decimating companies' bottom lines.

Matt Nardella, founder of Moss architecture and design studio, will discuss the evolution of green space. Liam Donnelly of Wastenot Compost rounds out the list of speakers; he'll focus on ways composting benefits both businesses and the environment.

Nancy Goldstein, founder of Compass (x) Strategy, will serve as moderator.

Tickets to the event are $20 for chamber members and $25 for nonmembers if purchased in advance (click here). Cost is $25 for members or $30 for nonmembers at the door.

The cost includes food and drinks from Spoken Cafe, Sweet Sensations and Dovetail Brewing.
