Kensuan Ward, 21, Killed In Marquette Park Shooting

CHICAGO — A shooting in Marquette Park left 21-year-old Kensuan Ward dead on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

At 3:45 p.m., officers responding to a call of a person shot in the 2600 block of West 64th Street found Ward outside, said Officer Thomas Sweeney, a Chicago Police spokesman. Ward had been shot in his chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy showed Ward, of the 6400 block of South Campbell, died of multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide, according to Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records.

No one was in custody in the shooting.
