LINCOLN PARK — Heads up, Pokémon Go users: The latest meetup will be held at the Lincoln Park Zoo.

About 2,000 people on Facebook say they're going to the meetup, which is scheduled for July 23, from noon-4 p.m., at the zoo, 2001 N. Clark St. More than 9,000 people on Facebook say they're "interested" in attending.

Pokémon Go has taken the world by storm since it debuted last week with Nintendo, the maker of the game, growing $7 billion in market value.

The web-based app overlays digital Pokémon creatures over users' real-life environment using geolocation, prompting players to take to the streets and scan their surroundings with their phones.

The first-ever Pokémon Go meetup is set for Sunday in Millennium Park.

We're creating a map to help you nab Pokémon within Chicago city limits.
