EDGEWATER — Queens, assemble! Abbi Jacobson of "Broad City" and Chicago's own Samantha Irby of the "Bitches Gotta Eat" blog are coming to Senn High School this fall.

Andersonville's Women and Children First bookstore are bringing the pair to Senn High School's auditorium Oct. 28 to discuss Jacobson's upcoming book of drawings, "Carry This Book."

Tickets go on sale Aug. 2 and include admission to the 7 p.m. event at 5900 N. Glenwood Ave. in Edgewater, along with a copy of Jacobson's book (and yes, you can get it signed).

Jacobson, a star and executive producer on Comedy Central's "Broad City" alongside fellow executive producer Amy Poehler, has authored two other books of drawings: "Color This Book: New York City" and "Color This Book: San Francisco."

Irby, author of the popular Chicago-based blog and book "Meaty: Essays By Samantha Irby," has become known as a powerful and funny writer unafraid to openly discuss sex, food, culture and life.
