EDGEWATER — Chicagoans know to cherish the fleeting summer months, especially with a seemingly endless list of activities going on across the city.

While winter is still a million miles away, check out these four fun things to do outside in Edgewater, Rogers Park and West Ridge this weekend.

Greek Fest: This year St. Andrew's in Edgewater is celebrating its 55th annual Greek Fest all weekend. For $3, patrons will get to experience live music, Greek food, craft beers, desserts, raffles and a place for kids to play. Check out the festival from 3-11 p.m. Saturday and noon-11 p.m. Sunday at 5649 N. Sheridan Road.

Garden Walk: Since 1973, Edgewater Glen has been home to the neighborhood's garden walk. This year, from noon-5 p.m., a $5 donation for adults (free for kids) gets community members a sneak peek into the blooming gardens of residents Sunday in the 1400 and 1500 blocks of the area, starting at 1420 W. Glenlake Ave.

Glenwood Sunday Market: Each week, the Glenwood Sunday Market in Rogers Park draws people from across the city and beyond to stock up on fresh goodies. Check it out from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday on Glenwood Avenue next to the Morse Red Line station.

Theater At Indian Boundary: Indian Boundary Park is known for its incredible grounds and dedication to the arts and culture (check out the piano in its Nature Center), and this weekend it's bringing theater to the Far North Side. Watch Fury Theater's performance of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" from 7-9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the park's 2500 W. Lunt Ave. location. BYOseating.
