MAGNIFICENT MILE — A "One Tree Hill" convention is coming to Chicago, and people on the Internet are freaking out.
A three-day convention will bring stars of the longtime WB/CW drama Nov. 11-13 to the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, 540 N. Michigan Ave.
Confirmed guests include actors Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty and Jana Kramer. "One Tree Hill," which ran for nine seasons from 2003 to 2012, starred Murray and Lafferty as half-brothers who, IMDB says, "trade between kinship and rivalry both on the basketball court and in the hearts of their friends in the small, but not so quiet town of Tree Hill, North Carolina."
One episode in season six famously depicted a dog eating a new heart intended for the brothers' father:
Tickets range from $70 for a weekend pass to $795 for a "diamond" pass allowing autographs and photos with the stars. The convention is run by EyeCon, an Atlanta-based celebrity autograph convention company.
