ALBANY PARK — Catch Gru and the minions in their debut flick during Friday night's screening of "Despicable Me" in Ronan Park.
Steve Carrell voices the character of super-villain Gru, who plans on stealing the moon until a trio of orphaned girls melts his heart.
The show starts at dusk, or approximately 8:30 p.m., at the park, 3000 W. Argyle St. The animated feature is rated PG and has a run time of 1 hour and 35 minutes.
Pack a picnic and bring your own seating. Temperatures are expected to be in the low- to mid-60s.
