RAVENSWOOD — Does Ravenswood need another neighborhood run?

Lycee Francais, the French school, is planning to hold a 5K race in September, with the route snaking along area streets (see below).

Residents will have an opportunity to learn more about the proposal and share their opinions at a community meeting set for 7 p.m. Monday at the school, 1929 W. Wilson Ave.

The run would take place Sept. 25 and would require street closures and parking restrictions along the route.

The area already has experience playing host to a neighborhood run. The Ravenswood Run, held in the spring, just celebrated its 20th anniversary in April.
