WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — Two men were shot dead on a front porch on the Far South Side early Sunday, police said.

Around 1:15 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 9000 block of South Marshfield Avenue, where they found both men unconscious, according to Officer Veejay Zala, a Chicago Police spokesman.

One of the men was shot in his head, and the other was shot in his neck, Zala said. Both were pronounced dead on scene.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified one of the men as 42-year-old Antwon Brooks. The other was Javil Nunn, 33, of the 1300 block of West 80th St.

No one is in custody, police said.
