CHICAGO — A shooting in Woodlawn left a 23-year-old woman wounded on Thursday night, police said.

At 10:50 p.m., the woman was standing on a front porch in the 6700 block of South Rhodes Avenue when someone in a blue car fired shots at her, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The woman was hit in her right thigh. She was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where her condition was not released but she was listed as "stable," Amezaga said.

No one was in custody in the shooting.
