Wicker Park Farmers Market Kicks Off Sunday, Here's The Vendor List

WICKER PARK — Returning to Wicker Park's namesake park this Sunday, the weekly Farmers Market welcomes back several returning vendors and some new additions, such as Brobagel and Dove's Luncheonette.

Located at 1425 N. Damen Ave. in Wicker Park — one-half block south of the CTA Damen Blue Line "L" stop — the market runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sundays through Oct. 30.

Sunday's opening market will include a free concert, "Muses in the Park," by the Wicker Park Choral Singers, from noon to 1 p.m.

There is no designated parking area for customers, although street parking is available. The Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, which organizes the market, suggests walking, biking and taking public transportation.

Here's the list of 23 confirmed vendors, as of Wednesday:

Artisan Bread Shop — Breads, cookies, muffins

Aruyveda Alchemists — Organic cleaning supplies and scents (only on June 12, 19; July 3, 10, 24, 31; Aug. 14, 21; Sept. 4, 11, 25; Oct. 2, 16, 23)

Broad Shoulders BBQ — Jars of sweet, smoky and spicy barbeque sauces

Brobagel — Four types of bagels (plain, sesame everything, cinnamon-raisin) and four cream cheeses (plain, veggie, Sriracha, walnut-raisin)

Bushel & Pecks — Pickled and jarred goods, produce

Burton's Maplewood Farm — Maple syrup

Dove's Luncheonette — Seasonally rotating paleta (ice cream bars) and agua fresca, water sweetened with fruit. 

Elsie Mae Cannery & Pies — mini pies, canned fruits

Fehr Bros. Farms — Meat, eggs

Garden Offerings & Petal's Farm — Florals & ornamentals

Ipsento — Nitro coffee (from a bike)

Iron Creek — Organic produce

Letizia's Fiore — Pasta, baked goods

Metropolitan Farms — Aquaponics produce

Mint Creek — Organic meat, eggs, prepared foods

MJC Crepes/Crepes Paname — Sweet & savory crepes

Nichols Farm & Orchard — Seasonal produce

Pasta Pappone — Flavored pastas

River Valley Ranch — Produce, jarred goods, prepared foods

Seedling — Fruit, miscellaneous herbs & vegetables

Stamper Cheese — Artisanal cheese

Twisted Olive — Olive oils & balsamics (only on Sunday and June 26; July 17; Aug. 7, 28; Sept. 18; Oct. 9, 30.)

Velvet Desserts — French pastries

The market accepts LINK and SNAP cards and offers the Double Value Coupon Program, which provides matching funds for LINK card users when they purchase LINK-eligible products.
