CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was wounded in an Austin shooting Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

The man was in the 1400 block of North Lotus Avenue at 2:45 p.m. when he was shot, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, Chicago Police spokeswoman.

He was struck in the ankle and was brought to Norwegian American Hospital in good condition, Tannehill said. Other details weren't immediately known, she said.

No arrests have been made, Tannehill said.
