CHICAGO — A 19-year-old man was wounded in a Washington Park shooting early Sunday, according to police.

The man had gotten off the bus in the 6400 block of South King Drive at 6:15 a.m. when a man walked out of a nearby building and opened fire, said Officer Laura Amezaga, Chicago Police spokeswoman.

He was struck in his leg and was taken to University of Chicago Hospital in good condition, Amezaga said.

No arrests have been made, she said.
