CHICAGO — Homestead on the Roof is one of the best places to dine outside in the United States, according to new rankings.
The farm-to-table restaurant, 1924 W. Chicago Ave., was the only restaurant from Chicago to be featured on a list of the country's 100 best al fresco eateries from OpenTable. Homestead focuses on seasonal fare with cocktails, wine and beer from craft breweries.
If you're looking to dine al fresco, Homestead has an 80-seat rooftop patio surrounded by gardens, according to its website.
OpenTable determined the top 100 restaurants using more than 5 million restaurant reviews across more than 20,000 restaurants.
